This study builds off of prior national research examining relationships between school nurses, healthcare providers, and domestic violence agencies. It takes place in three Pennsylvania counties and examines the effectiveness of the CUES Intervention (Confidentiality, Universal Education, Empowerment, and Suport) in facilitating warm referrals for adolescent relationship abuse or reproductive and sexual coercion between school nurses, family planning providers, and domestic violence agencies. Each county has a community leadership team comprised of representatives from school health, family planning providers, and domestic violence agencies who work together to strengthen relationships between their schools, clinics, and agencies. Additionally, a state leadership team comprised of stakeholders working in school health, healthcare and family planning, and victim services across the state of Pennsylvania advise and support the community leadership teams.
