Fellowship Clinical Training

Our fellows participate in clinical care

The Center for Adolescent and Young Adult Health (CAYAH) sees over 7,000 outpatient visits annually including both primary care and consultative care. View the Program Curriculum and Block Schedule (PDF).

In-patient consults are done at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh (CHP).

CHP is one of 10 hospitals named to U.S. News & World Report’s Honor Roll of America’s “Best Children’s Hospitals” for 2020-21.  It is currently ranked seventh in NIH funding.  Annually, CHP has almost 15,000 inpatient stays and more than 1 million outpatient visits and is the leading pediatric hospital in using advanced health information technology.

Fellows complete the majority of their clinical time with our faculty.

Off campus clinical sites include: Shuman Detention Center, college health center at Carlow University, 412 Youth Zone, Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (WPIC), and Pittsburgh Aids Center for Treatment (PACT) Clinic.
