Residencies
The Residency Program at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh has a long, rich history and several distinguishing features:
- The program is based at an internationally recognized center for pediatric care, ranked #6 in the 2022 US News and World Report ratings of children's hospitals.
- Residents receive special, highly-individualized attention from an exceptional team of faculty experts.
- Clinical experience features a remarkable volume and variety of pediatric diagnoses. Since Children’s is the only pediatric hospital in the region, our residents take part in an extraordinary breadth of pediatric medical problems.
- Residents are mentored by role models who have been successful in academic pediatrics and develop a diverse team of advisors during their training.
