Pitt Pediatrics congratulates Anne C. Silva Barbosa, PhD, for being selected as a winner of Best Poster Presentations at the University of Pittsburgh Postdoctoral Association 2022 Postdoctoral Data and Dine symposium. Barbosa is a Postdoctoral trainee of Sunder Sims-Lucas, PhD.
The poster presented was Barbosa’s “Dicarboxylic acid supplementation protects mice from AKI via increased renal peroxisomal activity” and was awarded a $750 professional development award from the association.
The Postdoctoral Association said about Barbosa’s poster presentation - “It is a significant accomplishment for [the] postdoctoral fellow to be among the participants at this event whose efforts were deemed to be exemplary relative to their peers.”
