Pitt Pediatrics congratulates assistant professor Thiago Bruder do Nascimento, PhD, of the Center for Pediatric Research in Obesity and Metabolism (CPROM) on his receipt of a highly competitive career development award from the American Heart Association.
This grant will provide three consecutive years of funding for Bruder's research project titled "Progranulin on Kawasaki’s diseases-induced vascular damage."
In addition to his work in CPROM, Bruder is a member of Pitt's Vascular Medicine Institute and the Richard King Mellon Foundation Institute for Pediatric Research.
