Pitt Pediatrics congratulates Craig A. Byersdorfer, MD, PhD, associate professor in the Division of Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapies, on receiving the Medical Student Research Mentoring Merit Award.
This prestigious award is granted by the Pitt School of Medicine on the recommendation of medical students for outstanding mentoring over the course of a Longitudinal Research Project (LRP). Byersdorfer was presented this award during the 2021 Virtual Scholar's Day held Wednesday, April 21.
In addition to his work in Pitt Pediatrics, Byersdorfer holds a secondary faculty appointment in Pitt's Department of Immunology.
