Pitt Pediatrics congratulates Terra Jackson on her UPMC Award for Commitment and Excellence in Service (ACES) honor. 
Jackson is a nurse within the Division of Rheumatology, led by Director Amr Sawalha, MD, and goes above and beyond for the division and patients daily.
"It is a great honor to receive the UPMC Aces award," said Jackson. "Working at Children's hospital has been life changing for me in so many ways. I am thankful for my colleagues in the pediatric Rheumatology department for always supporting my work and helping me to be the best nurse I can be."
The ACES Award honors staff who exemplify UPMC’s five core values – Quality & Safety, Dignity & Respect, Caring & Listening, Responsibility & Integrity, Excellence & Innovation – which are the foundation for what UPMC does. Each year, fewer than one percent of UPMC staff from across the health system receive this honor.
