On September 10, 2020, as part of the Rangos Research Seminar series, Terence S. Dermody, MD, Vira I. Heinz Distinguished Professor and Chair of Pediatrics delivered his annual State of the Department address.
In his remarks, Dermody highlighted the many accomplishments, promotions, and research breakthroughs of faculty and staff within Pitt's Department of Pediatrics and UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. As 2020 quickly comes to a close, Dermody discussed new initatives and goals for the department as Pitt Pediatrics and Children's Hospital continue to deliver the best care to the most kids.
