Pitt Pediatrics congratulates associate professor Erika Friehling, MD, on her appointment as vice chair for the American Society of Hematology/Oncology (ASPHO) Education Committee.
Friehling will serve as vice chair through the 2023 annual conference of the society, followed by an automatic term as committee chair through 2024 with a one-year renewal option. This volunteer position aids various initatives overseen by the ASPHO Board of Trustees.
In addition to her role in the Pitt Pediatrics Division of Hematology-Oncology, Friehling is associate vice chair of faculty development.
