Pitt Pediatrics congratulates associate professor Bernhard Kühn, MD of the Pediatric Institute for Heart Regeneration and Therapeutics, on his appointment to the National Institutes of Health "Basic Biology of Blood, Heart, and Vasculature" Study Section.
The BBHV study section reviews grant applications focused on basic molecular and cellular mechanisms and physiology of blood, heart and vascular cells and tissues in normal and pathologic conditions. Applications to BBHV focus on tissues, cells, and experimental organisms.
Kühn will serve on the study section in October 2021.
