Pitt Pediatrics congratulates assistant professor Elise Peterson Lu, MD, PhD, of the Paul C. Gaffney Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine, on her appointment as a national correspondent for the Journal of Hospital Medicine.
Lu will serve on an editorial panel focusing on clinical care conundrums. She will review, solicit, and edit material for the journal and participate in editorial calls for the publication.
In 2018, Lu joined the Department of Pediatrics as the inaugural fellow in pediatric hospital medicine. Her academic interests include clinical research studying failure to thrive and trainee education.
