Pitt Pediatrics congratulates Colleen Mathews, MD, for being announced as Fellow of the Year by the Pediatric Residency program! Mathews is a fellow in UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Pediatric Hematology-Oncology fellowship program.
Mathews was praised for her clinical acumen and excellent communication skills. She was also praised for being kind, having clear plans and timely responses, and being great with teams and families. One resident described Mathews as “one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and most intelligent fellows I have ever worked with.”
