Pitt Pediatrics congratulates Anita McElroy, MD, PhD, for her recent admittance into the NIH’s Center for Scientific Review Viral Pathogenesis and Immunity (VPI) section. 
The VPI study section reviews applications pertaining to eukaryotic virus infections focused on elucidating virus-host interactions and mechanisms of antiviral immunity using innovative approaches that include in vitro, cell-based and animal models.
McElory will have her first session with the section in Oct/Nov of 2024. Please join us in congratulating Anita in this awesome adventure!
