Pitt Pediatrics congratulates Elizabeth Miller, MD, PhD, FSAHM, on her appointment of Distinguished Service Professor of Pediatrics in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Miller was appointed this position May 1, 2022 by Chancellor Patrick Gallagher
As is noted in the faculty handbook, appointment to a distinguished professorship “constitutes the highest honor that the University can accord a member of the professoriate” and honors “extraordinary, internationally recognized scholarly attainment.”
