Owusu-Ansah, Hewett, Garrison Receive UPMC ACES Award

Pitt Pediatrics congratulates Sylvia Owusu-Ansah, Elizabeth Hewett, and Jessica Garrison for receiving the 2020 UPMC Award for Committment and Excellence in Service (ACES)!

The ACES award is given to physicians and staff who embody UPMC’s core values, exhibit excellence in and dedication to their work, and go above and beyond to serve patients and communities.

Sylvia Owusu-Ansah, MD, MPH, FAAP currently serves as associate vice chair of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Pitt Pediatrics and UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.  

Elizabeth Hewett, MD

Owusu-Ansah is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the Division of Emergency Medicine with a secondary appointment in Pitt's Department of Emergency Medicine.  

Elizabeth Hewett, MD is also an assistant professor in the Division of Emergency Medicine at Pitt Pediatrics.  

Jessica L. Garrison, MD is an assistant professor in the Paul C. Gafffney Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine and associate program director of the PHM fellowship program at Children's.
