Pediatrics Residency Ranked Among Top Ten In The Country

Pitt Pediatrics is proud to announce its Pediatric Residency Program has been ranked as among the top ten of residency programs in the country by Doximity!

This incredible recognition highlights the strength and robustness of our residency program, which provides world-class faculty mentoring and advising to our residents, helping them develop into the next generation of leading pediatricians, clinicians, and scientists.

Our UPMC Children’s’ Hospital of Pittsburgh, recently ranked the 8th best children’s hospital in the country by US News & World Report, features a remarkable volume of pediatric patients and variety of diagnoses for our residents to learn from within a unique region of the country.

Co-Directed by Katherine Watson, DO, FAAP and Andrew Nowalk, MD, PhD, our residency program includes eight different residency and combined-residency tracks, each uniquely crafted to provide a variety of cross-disciplinary education and diverse learning experiences.

“The UPMC CHP Pediatric Residency program is thrilled to be recognized as a top 10 Pediatric Residency program as it acknowledges an excellent trainee experience and outstanding faculty education!” Watson notes. “Our residents are what make our program great.”
