Pitt Pediatrics congratulates Mark A. Sperling, MD, professor emeritus of pediatrics, on receiving the prestigious Judson J. Van Wyk prize.
Sperling had a long, illustrious career at the University of Pittsburgh as Division Chief of Endocrinology and Chair of Pediatrics. This year, he was the recipient of The Pediatric Endocrine Society's most prestigious Van Wyk award in recognition of his outstanding career achievement. This Prize was established in honor of Judson J. Van Wyk, MD, and is given to one outstanding leader annually whose career is marked by scientific excellence, leadership, and dedication to the health of children.
