Pitt Pediatrics congratulates assistant professor Maya Ragavan of the Division of General Academic Pediatrics on her recognition by Pittsburgh Magazine as a "40 Under 40" honoree.
Ragavan is well-known in the Pittsburgh area for her community engagement efforts on topics including intimate partner violence, language equity in research, and COVID-19 vaccine experiences among immigrants and refugees. She practices general pediatrics at the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Primary Care Center in Oakland and participates in the Salud Para Niños program.
