Ray Secures HRSA T32 Grant Renewal to Support Primary Care Trainees

Kristin N. Ray, MD, MS, FAAPPitt Pediatrics has secured another round of funding to support a key primary care trainee program.

On June 4, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) awarded a renewal to support the General Academic Pediatrics Fellowship.  

Under the direction of associate professor Kristin N. Ray, MD, MS, FAAP, this two to three-year clinical research training experience is designed for motivated, creative individuals with health professional or research doctorates.

Fellows participating in this program are interested in research careers focused on improving care for underserved populations and improving primary health care delivery, health policy, patient safety, quality improvement, patient-centered care, health care organization and financing, and health care disparities.
