Pitt Pediatrics congratulates A. Kim Ritchey, MD, for receiving the Distinguished Career Award from The American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (ASPHO).
The Distinguished Career Award is presented annually by the ASPHO to a senior physician who during their career has had a major impact on the subspeciality, through some combination of research, education, patient care and advocacy.
Ritchey is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist with extensive experience caring for children with blood diseases and cancer. His career has been focused primarily on hemophilia and has cared for infants and children with this condition for over 30 years.
