We're Hiring: Pitt Pediatrics Seeks Part-Time Temporary Student Communications Assistant

The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics is seeking a student worker to assist with data entry as well as administrative and editorial support for a department-wide website and annual reports. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing data collected from approximately 700 faculty, staff, students, and postdoctoral researchers. The candidate will review submitted material, follow up as needed to clarify content, and synthesize and edit content (using Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro software as needed) to populate individual personnel profiles on the Pitt Pediatrics website.

Further, the candidate will assist the department’s Research Communications Specialist and Executive Assistant to the Chair with routine data collection, proofreading, and organization for the annual reports. The candidate will ensure accuracy of content and apply consistent branding and styling as necessary for various communications projects. 

One to two years of experience in an administrative setting or equivalent experience including responsibilities such as data entry, website and/or social media communications, and/or interacting with the public is required.
