Yoshimi Sogawa, MD, MS

  • Associate Professor of Pediatrics

Dr.Sogawa's research focus is in early onset epileptic encephalopathy and long term effects of childhood seizures, for which she received Outstanding Junior Member award from Child Neurology Society and the Early Career Physician-Scientist Award from the American Epilepsy Society. She has received a master degree from the Clinical Research Training Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has been a collaborator for several NIH funded clinical trials and site-PI for state funded and pharmaceutical company sponsored clinical trials on childhood epilepsy. She has also served as a reviewer for the American Academy of Neurology Research Program. She has been a director of clinical research and member of education committee in child neurology division since 2019, supervising scholarly activity of residents during their training.
