Anjani K. Ravindra, MD, FAAP

Ravindra is a pediatric pulmonologist committed to patient care, research and teaching. Her research goals are utilizing tissue engineering strategies toward airway replacement. Ravindra is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology. Ravindra earned her Bachelor of Science degree and medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed a pediatric residency at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital and fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Ravindra is specifically interested in transplant medicine and focused her research on airway transplantation. She works under Dr. Stephen F. Badylak at the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine.
