Christina M. Imming, MD

Dr. Christina Imming joined the Paul C. Gaffney Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine in 2017 immediately following completion of her combined residency in internal medicine-pediatrics at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. As a primary career goal, she had sought to work with Children with Special Health Care Needs, and was involved in the initiation of the Complex Care Center at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2017, established through the division of General Academic Pediatrics. She serves half her practice time in Complex Care, split with her work as a Hospitalist in the Division of Hospital Medicine. Her teaching interests focus on working with trainees regarding Children with Medical Complexity and their medical needs.
