Evelyn Rose Fitting, MSW
- Research Assistant
Evelyn graduated from the University of Iowa with a master’s degree in social work. Her work has been focused in public health, community outreach and counseling in a variety of settings and with diverse populations.
Evelyn has experience providing sensory-based behavior interventions for individuals with major neurocognitive disorders, facilitating a caregiver support group and training for direct care providers to individuals with disabilities and providing HIV testing and counseling. She currently works as a research assistant for Dr. Rachel Berger where she helps coordinate implementation of a Child Abuse Clinical Decision Support tool in hospitals across the country and helps support efforts to address SUID in Allegheny County.
