Dr. Xavier earned his Master of Science in Clinical Research at the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis after an extensive training, including an extra Pediatric Hemostasis and Thrombosis fellowship at the Hospital for SickKids-University of Toronto.

Dr. Xavier has published book chapters; peer-reviewed articles; participated in advisory boards (Industry and governmental) and has been a principal investigator or co-investigator in investigator-initiated / industry-based clinical trials. His area of interest is pediatric hemostasis (congenital or acquired).
