Jeanne Elkin, MD, MBE

Jeanne Elkin, MD, MBE is a categorical pediatric resident at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Jeanne earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame with a double major in Philosophy. She completed medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and also earned a Masters in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania. Jeanne is interested in primary care, care for patients with Trisomy 21, medical education, and pediatric bioethics.

"Likes" about Children's Hospital

The people. Everyeone is so supportive, kind and collaborative. The patients are wonderful and we see a variety of cases, with some rare diseases and enough experience in general pediatrics to prepare us for practice after erisdency. The hospital is beautiful and the food is great!

I was on the Rowing team in college!
