Jennifer Nagg has been a nurse since 1992. She spent 2 years in adult medical surgical nursing before realizing that this was not the place for her. She decided to apply to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and was hired on the Ortho/ Neuro Unit then after a few months one transferred to Liver, Small bowel and Kidney Transplant. She then worked in a Children’s Community Practice for several years and then decided to return to school to obtain a master’s degree. One graduated in 2004 from University of Pittsburgh with a BSN and in 2007 from Walden University with a master’s in nursing education. One taught Pediatrics at the College level for a few years as well as practiced as an Elementary School nurse. In 2010, one applied for a Pediatric research Nurse position with GSPH and when funding was lost in 2013, a new position at GAP was obtained. Since 2013, Jennifer has practiced acute care clinical research at GAP CTU. She is now the lead research coordinator and obtained her CCRC Certification from ACRP in 2018.Currently one participates in several industry and NIH funded studies.
