Jessica C. Levenson, PhD
- Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Levenson is a Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She is conducts clinical work in the Center for Adolescent and Young Adult Health. Dr. Levenson joined the faculty after completing a federally-funded postdoctoral program on Translational Research Training in Sleep Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. She is currently funded by a K23 award by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, and she has been awarded a Manners Award from the University of Pittsburgh Center for Center for Social and Urban Research (UCSUR), both of which focus on the development and testing of sleep-focused intervention programs for adolescents. Her research also focuses on understanding the links between sleep and mood, treating sleep problems as a strategy for ameliorating psychopathology, and improving access to behavioral treatments for sleep and psychopathology. Her clinical interest focus is on mood disorders, interpersonal relationships, and sleep.
