Joshua D. Doyle, MD, PhD
- Postdoctoral Fellow, Infectious Diseases
Dr. Doyle is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He completed his undergraduate training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, then accepted a position in the MD/PhD program at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, where he completed his graduate work in the laboratory of Dr. Terence Dermody. He remained in Nashville for pediatrics residency at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. After residency he was selected for the Epidemic Intelligence Service, a two-year fellowship in applied epidemiology at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA. After completing EIS he joined the fellowship program in Pediatric Infectious Disease Fellowship at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2019.
