Katrin Lichtsinn, MD, FAAP

Katrin Lichtsinn, MD, is a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellow who originally hails from southern Arizona. She obtained a BS in Kinesiology and a BA in Spanish from Arizona State University, followed by an MD from the University of Arizona. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Texas at Austin and moved to Pittsburgh in 2020 to start her Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship. She has worked in several different labs throughout her research career but is now focused on clinical research, and is currently working on an MS in Clinical Research. Her primary research interest is ventilator management in critically ill neonates, particularly those with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH).
