Lalicia Roman, RN, MS

Roman holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Chatham College, and a Master of Science in Human Genetics from the University of Pittsburgh. She has worked as a bench scientist in a genetics lab and research coordinator for the Healthy Black Families study. Roman decided to become a nurse and added the title of registered nurse to her resume. Before she came to the University of Pittsburgh as a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator, she worked on an acute rehab unit. Roman also joined GAP in May 2020 and is excited to combine science with nursing to help researchers find new medications, vaccines and medical devices to help humanity become a little more healthy.
