Administrative Assistant: Joann Broadus
Dr. West is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and is a board-certified Allergist/Immunologist at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She completed her medical school training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her residency in Pediatrics and Chief Residency at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh followed by her fellowship in Allergy/Immunology. Dr. West has a special interest in medical education and mentorship. She is the Program Director for the UPMC Allergy/Immunology fellowship program and also serves as Director of Resident & Medical Student Education for the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Division of Allergy & Immunology. She also serves as a Course Director for a University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Integrated Life Sciences course entitled "The “I”s Have It: Immunization, Immunodeficiency, and Inflammation in Kids." Dr. West is a Pittsburgh native, a die-hard Pittsburgh sports fan, and enjoys spending time outside of work with her husband and sons.
