Lisa Ripper, MPH, CPH
- Community Health Research Manager
Lisa Ripper, MPH, CPH (she/her/hers) is the Community Health Research Manager in the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics. She manages and coordinates community-based, stakeholder-engaged research and evaluation with children, adolescents, and young adults as part of the Miller Lab and The Pittsburgh Study. She also trains physicians, researchers, faculty, and staff across the University of Pittsburgh on community research methods. Her areas of focus include violence prevention, community health initiatives, school-based research, and implementation and dissemination science. She serves on the Futures Without Violence Coaching Boys into Men National Advisory Council. Lisa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Gannon University in Erie, PA, and her Master of Public Health degree in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. Lisa is Certified in Public Health from the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
