Dr Maeve Reidy originally graduated from medical school at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in 2018. She is a registered Irish doctor who following graduation, completed a 1 year internship and worked for 2 years as a pediatric Senior House Officer, thus completing her pediatric Basic Pediatric Training in Ireland. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, having successfully completed her Irish Pediatric Board exams. She moved to the US to pursue further training and complete residency in Categorical Pediatrics. She chose Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for it’s high-quality teaching and it's world-renowned, diverse faculty. She is passionate about medical education and research. The majority of her research has been in the speciality of Gastroenterology, more specifically on the following topics: gastritis, capsule endoscopy and celiac disease. Following completion of residency, she hopes to pursue a fellowship in Gastroenterology. In her free time, Dr Reidy enjoys traveling the world and has visited 21 countries to date. In addition, she is passionate about food and enjoys cooking, baking and trying new restaurants. She loves to spend time with family and friends.
