Noelle Calabro Conover, MS
- Project Manager, SurvivorConnect
I am the Project Manager for the SurvivorConnectTM program in the Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. SurvivorConnectTM is part of the Survivorship Program that is offered to survivors of pediatric cancer who are five years or more off treatment. SurvivorConnectTM enables us to "connect" survivors and improve education and communication between annual face-to-face visits with the Survivorship Clinic team. It optimizes information exchange with this young, adult, mobile population, provide resources that will aid in transition to adult care.
I use my skills at database management, marketing, PR, social media marketing, fundraising and project coordination to maintain and support the SurvivorConnectTM program for our more than 1100 survivors. I have been a part of several research initiatives within the Survivorship program. I have almost 40 years of experience in research including research design and methodology, data collection and management, analysis and interpretation, manuscript writing and editing, and presentation.
