Oliva Frosch, MD
- Assistant Professor of Pediatrics
Olivia Frosch, MD is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis and her Medical Degree with honors in research from New York University School of Medicine. She completed pediatrics residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia followed by pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, where she was chief fellow during her final year of fellowship. She worked as a pediatric hospitalist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia prior to beginning her pediatric cardiology fellowship.
Clinically, Dr. Frosch’s focus is on inpatient pediatric cardiology, cardiac neurodevelopment and transthoracic and fetal echocardiography. She serves as one of the four core pediatric cardiology inpatient physicians at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Her research interests include neurodevelopmental outcomes in children with congenital heart disease, quality improvement in pediatric cardiology and myocarditis following COVID-19 vaccination in adolescents and young adults.
