Rachel Vaizer, MD
- Resident, PGY-3
Vaizer is originally from Georgia, born and raised, and moved to Pittsburgh to become a Pittsburgh Pediatrician. She is a Georgia Bulldawgs, Atlanta Braves, and Atlanta Falcons fan but she is learning to cheer on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins when they are not playing Georgia teams. She is interested in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (blood and cancer disorders) and has research interests in childhood chronic illness. In her spare time she enjoys exploring Pittsburgh outdoors with friends and travelling to new places (when COVID isn't running rampant and making this an unsafe activity)
