Sanjay Lambore, MD, is the medical director of UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Primary Care Center at Turtle Creek. A board-certified pediatrician, Lambore is a member of the Division of General Academic Pediatrics and attending physician at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital. He is an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and a member of American Academy of Pediatrics and its Council of Sports Medicine and Fitness.
Lambore has extensive international clinical experience working as a physician in different parts of the world which include India, Tanzania, Canada, and the UK. He is considered to be a master clinician educator by his peers, residents and medical students. Lambore has received numerous professional and teaching awards. He is also a recipient of UPMC Award for Commitment and Excellence in Service (ACES) and has been elected to the prestigious University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Academy of Master Educators and to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Lambore's research interests include sudden cardiac death in adolescent athletes.
