Sarah Chamseddine, MD

Sarah is a current Pediatrics Resident at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Sarah completed her medical education at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon in 2018 and then completed a year as a post doctoral research fellow at the Center for Infectious Diseases Research (CIDR) at AUB. During her research year, she was in multiple research studies studying the epidemiology and characteristics of respiratory viral infections. She then joined Children's Hospital in 2019 as a resident on the categorical track and has continued to research Influenza under the mentorship of Anne-Marie Rick, MD, PhD. She will be on track to graduate in the Spring of 2022, after which she is interested in pursuing a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology.
