Ursula Wadsworth Parlin, MD

Ursula Parlin, MD, is a pediatric resident at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Ursula received her Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College with a major in Hispanic Studies. She spent a year researching epigenetic factors influencing diabetes pathogenesis at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia before pursuing her medical doctorate at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Jefferson University. During medical school, she was in the Underserved Urban Track and focused on medical Spanish and the global and local factors leading to Latinx immigrant health inequities. In residency, Ursula is one of the leaders of the Community-Oriented Resident Education (CORE) group and works at Salud Para Niños.
