Yuxun Zhang, PhD
- Senior Research Scientist
Dr. Zhang is a senior research scientist in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Genetic and Genomic Medicine. He earned PhD in biological science at Northeast Normal University in China. His current researches are focused on the role of lysine acylation on the regulations of fatty acid oxidation, investigations of critical enzymes associated with fatty acid oxidation regulating crosstalk between mitochondria and peroxisomes, and treatments of rare diseases associated with dysfunction of mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation enzymes at cell and animal levels.
