The Department of Pediatrics is housed within the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, enabling a true synergy between investigators, educators, house staff, and patients and families. The department is a part of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, a top recipient of National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding. The Department of Pediatrics also places at the forefront of extramural funding.
