Education and Training
Child Neurology Residency
A five-year combined Pediatrics/Child Neurology residency with eligibility for Board Certification from both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Residency
A six-year combined Pediatrics/NDD residency with one year devoted completely to research, one of only eight such programs in the United States.
Clinical Training Sites
Both residency programs provide a large number of clinical training sites plus specialized services in both hospital and outpatient settings.
Fellowships
ACGME-accredited fellowships following residency are offered in partnership with exceptionally strong programs at UPMC.
Educational Opportunities and Conferences
Regular multidisciplinary educational conferences support the growth and development of child neurology and neurodevelopmental disabilities trainees as well as continuing medical education of faculty.
