Visiting Pittsburgh

We look forward to welcoming you to Pittsburgh! A vibrant and active city, Pittsburgh is a terrific place to visit for both individuals and families. Located at the head of three rivers and nestled among rolling green hills, Pittsburgh and surrounding areas provide easy access to many natural and historical wonders. Check out our amazing parks and stunning views of the city from Mount Washington. Explore eclectic neighborhoods to uncover Pittsburgh's rich history, dine in style in one of the nation's fastest growing foodie scenes, or grab a cocktail at one of Pittsburgh's many rooftop bars. Did you know, Pittsburgh has the highest number of bars per capita of any city in the US? We've also got a LOT of bridges - some estimates even say Pittsburgh has more bridges than any other city in the world - even Venice! Pittsburghers also have their own dialect (just ask a "yinzer" for directions). Watch a game of one of our nationally recognized sports teams, or delve into Pittsburgh's amazing cultural scene with art and history museums, historic downtown, and national exhibits. Whatever you choose to do when you visit, we hope you'll enjoy Pittsburgh as much as we do and can't wait to share our city with you!
