Brendan A. Linton, BA
- Research Communications Specialist
Brendan joined the Department of Pediatrics in March 2020. He works closely with Terence S. Dermody, MD, Vira I. Heinz Distinguished Professor and Chair of Pediatrics, as well as other personnel across the department to develop and coordinate professional correspondence, reports, and special projects. Brendan also maintains the department's web presence, social media accounts, and other strategic communication initiatives.
Brendan has extensive compliance and communications experience in both public and private sectors. A University of Pittsburgh employee since January 2018, he previously worked in the University's Conflict of Interest Office ensuring compliance with various regulations relating to research operations and outside financial interests.
Prior to joining Pitt, Brendan was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Budget and Fiscal Management.
