Pitt Pediatrics is pleased to announce our selection as a participating site in the 2022 Summer Genetics Scholars Program.
Overseen by the American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine, Pitt Pediatrics and UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh will join 17 other institutions across the United States. The program dedicates funding for second-year medical school students to work directly with a medical geneticist. Since 2011, the ACMG has sponsored over 150 scholars at 30 different institutions.
