Since 2013, the CRSS has been serving one of the largest departments within the University of Pittsburgh. Currently located at UPMC Children’s Hospital, CRSS engages with all divisions within the Department of Pediatrics as the need for study coordination arises.
CRSS provides the following services:
- Preliminary budget assistance for pre-award submissions
- On-site staff assistance with the following
- Study Start Up - including enrollment, training, screening, test setup
- Study Conduct - including coordinating site visits, administering medication, patient monitoring and screening, sample collection, and/or study material collection
- Study Close Out - including final site visits, supply and equipment handling
- Regulatory support
