J. Seth VanZant, MD, MPH

J. Seth VanZant, MD, MPH, is a fellow in the neurodevelopmental disabilities program at the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. VanZant received his Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University, his Master in Public Health degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He completed pediatric residency and is continuing his neurology and neurodevelopmental disabilities fellowship at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. VanZant's clinical and research interests deal with the provision of general pediatric, developmental, and neurologic care for children with neurodevelopmental disability and complex medical conditions. He also has interests in caring for children and young adults with Down syndrome, and transition care for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and complex healthcare needs.

Career and Research Interests

To provide general pediatric, as well as neurologic and developmental care, to patients with developmental disabilities. I am particularly interested in working with kids with medical complexity, children with Down syndrome and neurofibromatosis.
