Madeline E. Saxon, CRNP
- Nurse Practitioner
Madeline has more than 5 years of pediatric nursing experience. She worked as a nurse in cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh prior to starting her role as a nurse practitioner at the Program for the Study of Neurodevelopment in Rare Disorders (NDRD). Madeline earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University while working as a nurse. Her role at the NDRD clinic is to work with patients and families to discuss medical histories, perform assessments, and provide guidance to families and their local providers. Madeline works with Dr. Escolar to evaluate results of developmental and cognitive testing, as well as clinic testing, to form Individualized care plans for patients with rare neurodegenerative disorders.
